Target Audience: The target audience is defined as women between the ages of 25 and 34.
Online Shopping: These women primarily buy online.
Age Range: The age range is between 25 and 34 years old.
For the user persona, we define a professional girl named María Virginia, whose job is remote, so she frequently uses delivery services. She is constantly connected to the web, and part of her leisure time is spent on online stores. Her main interests are focused on saving money, fashion, and traveling. However, her pain points are generated with the return processes, as they require time outside the home. She considers her shoe size difficult to select and does not buy from stores that do not have product reviews.
Based on the interests and data of our user persona, I decided to examine the frustrations and joys that may arise during the use of the Privalia app for the scenario established in the challenge: "Buying a pair of blue or black flip flops." Taking this as a starting point, we test the usual process of Privalia with the user, going through the following situations:
🙂 Initial Interest: The user decides to use Privalia due to the variety of brands and good prices advertised.
😓 Variety of Models: The user sees a variety of models they like, but cannot create a preselection list with their favorites.
😒 Adding Items to Cart: To make their selection, the user must add each item to the cart, providing details on size and color.
🤯 Searching for Size: The user decides to search for their size, but cannot find a reliable guide or reference.
🤬 Cart Expiration: When the user has seen all the models and removed what they didn't like from the cart, the cart expiration time expires, forcing them to start from scratch.
😭 Abandoning the Search: Finally, the user decides to abandon the search, as they don't have time to review all the models again.
In this user journey, we can see several key factors to accelerate the selection of models and keep the user interested in the purchase until it is completed:
Preselection List or Favorites: A list of preselected items or favorites would allow the user to easily select their preferred models.
Size Guide: A reliable size guide would give the user confidence in selecting the right article.
Prolonged Cart Expiration: While the user is actively selecting items, prolonging the cart expiration time would allow them to complete their selection without losing their progress.
